”Digital RMB” demonstration experiment: 160 million yen distributed to 50,000 people
デジタル人民元の実証実験は深セン市が中国人民銀行と連携して行うもので、抽選で5万人を選び、1人あたり200元、日本円で約3200円を配布します
The digital yuan demonstration experiment will be conducted by the city of Shenzhen in collaboration with the People’s Bank of China. 50,000 people will be selected by lottery, and 200 yuan per person and about 3200 yen in Japanese yen will be distributed.
The selected person downloads the dedicated application to the smartphone and receives it.
This ”Digital RMB” can be used at about 3400 stores such as shops and restaurants in certain areas in Shenzhen.
It means that you cannot transfer it to another person or transfer it to your bank account.
