Spectator stealing ball from outfielder’s glove bans entry to Game 5 of U.S. World Series

During Game 4 of the Major League Baseball World Series held on the 29th, two Yankees fans stole the ball from the glove of Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts.
The two players in question were ejected and banned from entering Yankee Stadium for Game 5.

Betts appeared to catch a foul ball against the fence midway through the first inning when Yankees forward Gleyber Torres threw it into the right stands.
However, one spectator in the front row grabbed Betts’ left glove and pried it open, and another spectator grabbed Betts’ right hand.

Major League Baseball has notified the Yankees that the two players will be banned from Game 4 on the 30th, a source told CNN.
The Yankees agreed.

Betts got angry and Torres was given an out for crowd interference by the referee’s decision.
