Mr. Honjo of the Nobel Prize ”I would like to change the drug patent contract”.
Mr. Honjo, a special professor at Kyoto University, together with the drug company Ono Pharmaceutical, created a new drug to treat cancer.
Mr. Honjo received the Nobel Prize last year for research on this medicine.

A lawyer at Kyoto University says, ”The money that Honjo-san gets for the current contract is around 2.6 billion yen, but it will be around 100 billion yen if the contract is done correctly.”
Honjo-san wants to use the money he / she receives for the research of young people and says, ”The company and the university have to cooperate properly and bring up young researchers.”
