Leakage of personal information of 3.5 cases maximum. 1.1 billion yen demanded from Capcom.
ゲーム大手のカプコンは第三者からの不正アクセスを受け、最大35万件の個人情報が流出した可能性があると発表しました
Gaming giant Capcom has declared that it had received third party illegal access due to which maximum of 3.5 lakh cases of personal information leak had probably occurred.
Of which,1,34,000 cases are related to leaking of phone numbers, addresses and personal information of domestic customers including information about the Company’s personnel and its customers.
However there’s no leak of customers’ credit card information.
On 9th a group named Lagoona Locker claimed that it had extracted confidential data and demanded 1.1 billion yen from Capcom instead of deleting the data.
