Electric car race “Formula E” held for the first time in Japan

「フォーミュラE」は、排気はいきガスを出ださない電気でんき自動車じどうしゃのレースです

”Formula E” is a race for electric cars that do not emit exhaust gas.

今いままでにローマやニューヨークなど世界せかいで開ひらいています

So far, it has opened in Rome, New York, and other locations around the world.

3月がつ30日にち、日本にっぽんで初はじめてフォーミュラEを開ひらきました

Formula E was held for the first time in Japan on March 30th.

日本にっぽんの車くるまの会社かいしゃなど11チーム22台だいの車くるまが参加さんかしました

22 cars from 11 teams including Japanese car companies participated.

レースは、午後ごご3時じごろから東京都とうきょうとの江東区こうとうくにある東京とうきょうビッグサイトの周まわりのコースで始はじまりました

The race began around 3pm on a course around Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo’s Koto Ward.

1周しゅうは2.585kmで、公道こうどうも走はしりました

One lap was 2.585km, and I also ran on public roads.

レースを見みに来きた人ひとたちは、電気でんき自動車じどうしゃが走はしっていくスピードを楽たのしんでいました

Those who came to watch the race enjoyed the speed at which the electric cars traveled.

東京都とうきょうとは、二酸化炭素にさんかたんそを出ださない電気でんき自動車じどうしゃや燃料電池車ねんりょうでんちしゃなどに乗のる人ひとがもっと増ふえてほしいと考かんがえています

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government wants more people to ride electric cars and fuel cell cars that do not emit carbon dioxide.

会場かいじょうには、このような車くるまを100台だい以上いじょう展示てんじしました

More than 100 such cars were exhibited at the venue.

会場かいじょうに来きた人ひとは「レースはとても楽たのしくて興奮こうふんしました

People who came to the venue said, ``The race was so much fun and exciting.’’

将来しょうらい、電気でんき自動車じどうしゃに乗のることも考かんがえたいです」と言いっていました
