漫画まんが「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎きたろう」などをかいた水木みずきしげるさんは、鳥取県とっとりけん境港市さかいみなとしで育そだって、2015年ねんに亡なくなりました

Shigeru Mizuki, who wrote the manga ”GeGeGe no Kitaro”, died in 2015 after growing up in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture.

境港市さかいみなとしでは、水木みずきさんが生うまれた3月がつに毎年まいとしイベントがあります

In Sakaiminato City, there is an event every year in March when Mizuki was born.

今年ことしは5日いつかに、水木みずきさんが生うまれてから101年ねんのお祝いわいをしました

This year, on the 5th, we celebrated the 101st anniversary of Mizuki’s birth.

「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎きたろう」に出でてくる妖怪ようかいと同おなじ格好かっこうをした人ひとなど350人にんぐらいが、音楽おんがくと一緒いっしょに道みちを歩あるいて、パレードを楽たのしみました

About 350 people, including people dressed like the youkai that appear in ”Gegege no Kitaro,” walked along the streets with music and enjoyed the parade.

新型しんがたコロナウイルスの問題もんだいがあって、パレードはしばらくできませんでした

Due to the problem of the new coronavirus, the parade was not possible for a while.

水木みずきさんの家族かぞくも来きて、妖怪ようかいたちがかいてあるケーキでお祝いわいをしました

Mr. Mizuki’s family also came and celebrated with a cake with ghosts on it.

愛知県あいちけんから来きた女性じょせいは「水木みずきさんのことが大好だいすきな人ひとたちと久ひさしぶりに会あうことができました

A woman from Aichi Prefecture said, ”I was able to meet people who love Mr. Mizuki for the first time in a long time.

みんなでお祝いわいができてよかったです」と話はなしていました
