Boeing union accepts proposal to end strike
米航空機大手ボーイングの労働組合は４日、組合員による投票を行い、会社からの新たな提案を受け入れた
The labor union of US aircraft giant Boeing held a vote on the 4th with its members accepting a new proposal from the company.
The costliest strike in the United States in more than 25 years has come to an end.
国際機械工労働組合（ＩＡＭ）によれば、会社からの提案に５９％が賛成した
According to the International Union of Machinists (IAM), 59% of workers approved the company’s proposal.

今回の承認された提案では即時に１３％の賃上げが行われる
The approved proposal would result in an immediate 13% wage increase.
Wages will increase by 9% in each of the next two years, with a further 7% increase in the fourth and final year of the contract.
In addition, a lump sum of $12,000 will be provided.
However, the previous pension system, which was abolished in 2014, will not be revived.

The strike involving 33,000 employees began on September 13th.
Production will resume from the 6th.
