China ”It’s a big lie of the century” banned Uighur products from rice

China vehemently opposed the US ban on imports of cotton products produced in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, saying that it was a big lie of the century.
The U.S. government announced on the 13th that it would ban the import of cotton products and tomato-related products produced in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, saying that there was information on forced labor.
The UK also announced this week a measure to ban the distribution of products made in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
In response, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly opposed that ”forced labor is a big lie of the century made up by some Western countries.”
Furthermore, he insisted that ”the purpose is to hit Chinese companies and contain the development of China” and to take countermeasures.
