TEPCO faces tight demand for power interchange from other companies for the second time this year due to late summer heat

In response to record-breaking heat, TEPCO Power Grid announced on the afternoon of the 11th that it had received power concessions for the second time this year.
It is reported that up to 300,000 kilowatts of electricity was received from the Chubu Electric Power Grid for 30 minutes starting at 4:30 p.m.
This is the first time since July of this year that we have been given accommodations due to high temperatures.
This will be the first time in September since 2019, when there was a power shortage due to a typhoon.
