New Zealand and the United Kingdom to Sign Free Trade Agreement
英国とニュージーランドは２２日までに、自由貿易協定（ＦＴＡ）を締結することで合意しました
The U.K. and New Zealand have agreed to conclude a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by 22 October
The agreement is expected to lower tariff barriers for clothes, bus, wine, and bulldozer.
The agreement, which has been concluded after rounds of negotiations for 1 year and 4 months, will be the newest bilateral arrangement being established after the Brexit.
The British government claims that being able to unilaterally negotiate trade policies is the biggest benefit after separating from the Europe Union (EU).
Even though London is advancing negotiations with both Australia and NZ, local farmers oppose such policy due to their concerns about cheaper imported goods.
For 20 years, the EU contributes to the U.K. export and import by 42% and 50% respectively.
Now, British companies are facing new trade barriers that come with Brexit.
