Miss Universe’s American representative is reporter Elle Smith, who now heads to the international competition in Israel
今年のミス・ユニバース世界大会で米国を代表する「ミスＵＳＡ」に、ケンタッキー州代表のエル・スミスさんが選ばれました
This years Miss Universe competition will have American representative ”Miss USA” Elle Smith, who represented the state of Kentucky.
スミスさんはケンタッキー大学で放送ジャーナリズムを専攻し、昨年卒業しました
Miss Smith majored in Broadcast Journalism at Kentucky University before graduating last year.
Now she works as a reporter in the same state for a broadcast station in Louisville.
大学時代には、全米黒人ジャーナリスト協会（ＮＡＢＪ）の副支部長を務めました
During her university time, she served as vice president of the local chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists(NABJ).
The NABJ gave Miss Smith a congratulatory message.
