Nobel Prize in Physics: Three Swiss astronomers selected
今年のノーベル物理学賞の受賞者が発表され、アメリカ・プリンストン大学のピーブルズ教授と、スイス・ジュネーブ大学のマイヨール教授とケロー教授の３人が選ばれました
The winners of this year’s Nobel Prize in Physics were announced, and Professor Peable’s of Princeton University in the United States and Professor Mayor and Professor Kello of the University of Geneva in Switzerland were selected.
Professor Peable’s has contributed to the theoretical analysis of the history of the universe by focusing on the changes in matter and energy since the Big Bang that occurred about 13.8 billion years ago and conducting research.
Mayor discovered planets outside the solar system, and his research has been credited with driving the development of planetary science and astrobiology.
