12 Hong Kong citizens detained at sea continue to be detained in mainland China

The public security authorities in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China issued a notice for the first time after the detention of 12 people, and explained that they were ”detaining themselves on suspicion of illegally crossing the border and continuing the investigation.”
At the press conference, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China said, ”The authorities guarantee the legal rights of the suspect in accordance with the law,” and stabbed the nail, saying, ”This is completely a matter of internal affairs in China.”
Also, Hua Chunying, a spokesman for the same Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, insisted on her Twitter that ”12 people are not democratic activists but are planning to separate Hong Kong from China.”
