The Constitutional Court of South Korea has dismissed the impeachment request against Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who was acting as President Yoon Suk-yeols deputy and had his duties suspended following the passage of a motion calling for his impeachment. Prime Minister Han has returned to his duties.
韓国のハン・ドクス首相は、去年12月に「非常戒厳」を宣言したユン・ソンニョル大統領の弾劾を求める議案が可決されたことを受けて、大統領の職務代行を務めましたがその後、ハン首相の弾劾を求める議案も可決され、職務が停止されていました。
<br>South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo served as acting president following the passage of a motion to impeach President Yoon Suk-yeol, who declared a state of emergency last December. However, a motion to impeach Prime Minister Han was also passed, and his duties were suspended.
韓国の憲法裁判所は24日、弾劾の理由の1つとされていた、空席となっていた憲法裁判所の裁判官を任命しなかったことについては、憲法などに違反する行為だと指摘しました。

一方で、ユン大統領による「非常戒厳」の宣言をめぐり、ハン首相が憲法に違反する行為をしたとは認められないと指摘し、罷免を正当化する理由はないとして、ハン首相に対する弾劾の求めを棄却しました。

ユン大統領による「非常戒厳」の宣言そのものが違憲かどうかについては、24日の決定では判断が示されませんでした。
