India train collision incident, death toll approaches 300
インド東部オリッサ州バーレーシュワルで２日夜、複数の列車が絡む衝突事故があり、ここまで２８８人の死亡が確認されました
In Bareshwar in the east Indian state of Orissa, for two days and nights multiple train carriages have been entangled in a train collision. To this point 288 people have been confirmed dead.
THe number of injured has passed 1000 people.
救助隊員が生存者の捜索を急いでいますが、多くの人が転覆した車両に閉じ込められているとみられる中、死者数はさらに増えることが予想されます
Rescue personnel are busily searching for surivors, but it is believed many people remain trapped in the capsized train carriages and furthermore the number of dead is anticipated to rise.
オリッサ州の消防幹部は、地元メディアの取材に答え「今後生存者が救出される見込みはあまりない」と述べました
An Orissa state firefighter said ”i don’t expect many survivors will be rescued tonight”
