A hospital built in a remote part of Bangladesh, which is susceptible to rising sea levels, has been selected as the best building in the world.

バングラデシュ南部なんぶに位置いちし、たびたびサイクロンの被害ひがいに遭あうサトキラ地区ちくにあるフレンドシップ・ホスピタルが１月がつ、２０２１年ねんの権威けんいあるＲＩＢＡ国際賞こくさいしょうを受賞じゅしょうしました

The Friendship Hospital in the Satkhira district, which is located in the southern part of Bangladesh and is often damaged by cyclones, won the prestigious RIBA International Award in 2021 in January.

The architects who designed the hospital were praised for ”putting consideration and compassion at the center of the design.”

病床数びょうしょうすう８０床しょうのこの病院びょういんの建物たてものには地元産じもとさんのれんがが使用しようされており、建物たてものを取とり囲かこむように一連いちれんの中庭なかにわや静しずかで日陰ひかげの通路つうろが配置はいちされています

The 80-bed hospital building is made of locally produced bricks, with a series of courtyards and quiet, shaded walkways surrounding the building.

病院びょういんの中心ちゅうしんには角張かくばった水路すいろがあり、その水路すいろを境さかいに入院病棟にゅういんびょうとうと外来棟がいらいとうが分わかれています

There is a square waterway in the center of the hospital, and the inpatient ward and the outpatient ward are separated by the waterway.
