Yamaha Motor Bicycle battery 300,000 collected, 4 injured

Yamaha Motor announced that it will be replaced free of charge because there is a risk that more than 300,000 batteries for electrically power assisted bicycles will ignite.
So far, 4 people have been injured and 26 cases of fire have been reported.
There is a risk of ignition of 305,660 batteries for electrically power assisted bicycles manufactured from August 2016 to December 2018.
It was reported that there were 24 cases of ignition during charging and bicycle parking due to deterioration inside the battery, and 2 cases of smoke, and 4 people were injured such as burns.
Yamaha Motor says that it may have been installed in 48 models including 19 models manufactured by Bridgestone Cycle, and if it corresponds to the target product, stop using it without charging and proceed with the replacement procedure. Calling
