Kawasaki Heavy Industries opened a restaurant where robots are in charge of all operations from food preparation to setting the table.
The menu offers curry, pasta, etc (three varieties).
Food can be served in approximately 10 minutes from when orders are taken using a smart phone.
Kawasaki Heavy Industries, as a consequence of severe labour shortages, are in development of robots that serve and watch attentively over (place like) restaurants and hospitals. Kawasaki Heavy Industries aim to put these robots into practical use during this year based upon the results of demonstration experiments at this restaurant.
