US President Joe Biden has announced his intention to discuss additional sanctions on Russia with the leaders of the G7 = seven developed countries later this week.
I did not touch on the contents of the additional sanctions currently envisioned by the Biden administration.
On the 4th, the EU = European Union announced a new sanctions plan that included a total embargo on Russia’s oil, a change from the cautious stance so far, showing a stance of further increasing pressure on Russia.
