A house fire in Higashimurayama, Tokyo, killed four people believed to be parents and children

Before dawn on the 9th, a fire broke out in a house in Higashimurayama City, Tokyo, and four men and women who seemed to be parents and children were rescued from the second floor, but died after that.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, etc., after 3:00 am, a neighbor called 119 in Higashimurayama City saying that the house was on fire.
This fire burned about 80 square meters of a two-story house.
From the 2nd floor of the house, a total of 4 men and women were rescued and taken to the hospital, but after that, all 4 people were confirmed dead.
It means that a couple in their 60s and two boys in their 20s to 30s lived in this house.
It is believed that a fire broke out from the room on the first floor, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
The site is a residential area about 1.2 km west of Seibu Railway Higashimurayama Station.
