I was taking pictures at a competition organized by the Surf Club of San Onofre, California.
Surfer Tyler Warren appears to be only a few meters away from the shark on the back jaw.

This photo was taken around 11:00 a.m. on the morning of October 22nd.
Anast says that at first he did not know exactly what he had captured.
Before that, I had taken pictures of dolphins, so from a distance it looked like the dolphins had reappeared.
