It is suspected that a high school boy in Hanamigawa Ward, Chiba City, cut the wire mesh of a monkey cage at Takagoyama Natural Zoo in Futtsu City between the evening of June 9th and the morning of June 10th.
According to the police, a high school boy was identified and arrested from the images of the surrounding security cameras.
”I’m sure I did it,” he admitted.
Approximately 70 Japanese macaques were running away because the wire mesh was cut.
