US Senate Approves Barrett’s Supreme Court Nomination

The vote was 52 to 48 in favor
Of the 53 members of the ruling and Republican parties, only Susan Collins from Maine turned against it.
Collins is struggling in the Senate election, which will take place at the same time as the presidential election on the 3rd of next month.
In a statement released last month, he argued that an approval vote should not be taken shortly before the presidential election.
