Two people die at elderly care facility; investigation into troubles between residents

Two male residents were found dead in a room at an elderly care facility in Kitakyushu City, and the police are investigating whether the two had any trouble.
According to the police, just after 6 a.m. on the 23rd, staff at a nursing home in Kitakyushu City reported that a person had been decapitated.
When the police rushed to the room at the scene, they found Tsuyoshi Nagakawa (79), who lived in this room, and a male resident (in his 70s) in another room, bleeding and lying on the ground.
Both victims were confirmed dead at the scene, with wounds found on Nagakawa’s neck and the other on his stomach.
Police consider it unlikely that a third party was involved based on the circumstances at the scene, and are investigating whether there was any trouble between the two.
