Myanmar: More than 30 houses and other buildings destroyed by military airstrikes

A village in southeastern Myanmar was hit by an airstrike by the national army, and more than 30 houses were burnt down.
The village that was hit by the airstrike had just been recaptured from the national army by ethnic minority armed groups.
According to Myanmar’s independent media outlet Kit Thit, on the 27th, the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike using incendiary bombs on a village in southeastern Mon State.
At least 30 homes, including civilian homes, were destroyed by this airstrike.
It is said that the military intentionally did not allow fire engines heading to the village to pass through the checkpoint to extinguish the fire.
The village was originally in an area controlled by the national army, but it was taken back by ethnic minority armed groups two days ago.
As the fighting between the national army and ethnic minority armed groups intensifies in the surrounding areas, civilian casualties are increasing further.
