Sado City, Niigata Prefecture: The baby ibis has grown up and left the nest.
The ibis is a bird designated as a special natural monument that the country has decided to cherish.
In Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, babies have been born to ibises living in nature for the past 12 years.
On May 6th, we found out that 4 new babies were born.

On June 21st, the grown children left the nest and found themselves in another tree.
But they still can’t fly properly and can’t grab food.
On the 25th, three cubs repeatedly placed their beaks against their parents’ beaks.
It seemed like they wanted something to eat.
A person from the Ministry of the Environment said, ``The baby crested ibis has grown up again this year.
It’s all thanks to everyone working hard to make life easier for Toki.
If you find a child, please look at them quietly from a distance.”
