Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor won first place for the first time in the 2021 edition of the athlete’s billionaire ranking published by the US economic magazine Forbes.
Revenue for the past year was $ 180 million
According to Forbes, McGregor is the third active athlete to earn more than $ 70 million a year outside of his core business.
Until now, there were only Roger Federer of tennis and Tiger Woods of golf.
Lionel Messi ($ 130 million) and Cristiano Ronaldo ($ 120 million) of soccer are ranked second and third in the ranking of the chiefs, respectively.
Fourth place was Dak Prescott ($ 175.5 million) of the US Professional Football League (NFL).
LeBron James of the US professional basketball (NBA) followed in 5th place for $ 96.5 million.
