Prime Minister Suga apologizes to those who became ill with asbestos
Asbestos, which was used as a material for buildings, was found to be bad for the body and can no longer be used.
The people who built the building were suing for cancer and other illnesses by smoking asbestos at work without knowing that it was bad for them.
The Supreme Court said on the 17th, ”The company that makes the materials for the country and the building is responsible.”
On the 18th, Prime Minister Suga met the people who filed the trial and apologized, ”I sincerely apologize to everyone.”
He said that as soon as possible, the country would pay to take responsibility and help those who have not filed a trial.
