Opposition party’s meeting caught, about 200 people detained Russian security authorities

On the 13th at a hotel in Moscow, security forces suddenly stepped into a meeting attended by opposition lawmakers.
This meeting was held by opposition parties critical of the Putin administration, and was discussing strategies for the House of Representatives election to be held in September.
According to TASS, about 200 people, including active city council members, were detained on suspicion of ”unfavorable activities for Russia”.
In Russia, opposition leader Alexei Navalny was sentenced to prison last month, and the crackdown on dissidents is increasing.
