Enjoy the ``Floor Momiji’’ where maple leaves are reflected on the floor of a temple in Gunma Prefecture
群馬県桐生市にある宝徳寺というお寺には、100本ぐらいのもみじの木が植えてあります
About 100 maple trees are planted at a temple called Hotokuji in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture.
今の季節、もみじの葉が美しい緑色になります
The maple leaves turn beautiful green this season.
The maple trees outside the building are reflected on this floor, so it is called ”floor maple”.
The floor has 28 tatami mats, and the maple leaves look like they are reflected in the water.
People who came to the temple would lie on the floor and take pictures in order to capture the ”floor maple”
見に来た人は「秋の紅葉は知っていましたが、今の緑色の若い葉も、きれいでした」と話していました
People who came to see it said, ”I knew about autumn leaves, but the green young leaves were beautiful now.”
「床もみじ」は5月14日まで見ることができます
”Floor Momiji” can be seen until May 14th.
