Mariupol’s steelworks complete evacuation of women and children

It was found that the evacuation of women, children and the elderly was completed from the ironworks in Mariupol, southeastern Ukraine, surrounded by Russian troops.
Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Bereshchuk announced on the 7th that ”all women, children and the elderly have been evacuated from the Azovstal ironworks”.
Although detailed information such as the number of people was not disclosed, it was stated that ”humanitarian assistance operations in this part of Mariupol’s have been completed.”
The 7th was the last day of the three-day temporary ceasefire announced by Russia.
Meanwhile, the Azov Battalion at the steelworks told the Ukrainian media that three soldiers were attacked by the Russian army and died during the evacuation activities the day before.
