At the animal shelter in Lviv, the owners are evacuating overseas or taking away animals from all over Ukraine that have died in the attack of the Russian army.
At the most, there were 130 dogs alone.
There is also a shelter in the city where you can spend time with your pets, and at one point it was accepting 200 refugees and 100 pets.
In addition to fighting, the staff at each facility emphasized that the stress of animals separated from their owners was beyond imagination.
