US Starbucks withdraws from Russian business

Starbucks announced on the 23rd that it will withdraw from the Russian business, saying that it has decided not to have a brand in the Russian market.
Starbucks has expanded to 130 stores in 15 years since it entered Russia in 2007, but announced the temporary closure of stores in March following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
It means paying about 2000 employees a 6-month salary and supporting them for reemployment.
On the 16th of this month, major American fast food companies ”McDonald’s” announced their withdrawal from the Russian market, and major Western companies are leaving Russia one after another.
