Largest dinosaur fossil found in Argentine turned out to be a new species.

It was revealed that the dinosaurs fossil excavated in Argentina were one of the largest new species of Megaraptora.
Researchers at the National Museum of Nature and Science have unearthed large carnivorous dinosaurs from the late Cretaceous strata, about 70 million years ago in souther Patagonia, Argentina.
According to the Nationa Museum of Nature and Science, the fossila found at the site were the spine and ribs and subsequent investigation revealed they were new species of Megaraptora and were named Maip macrosolax.
It is estimated to be over 9 meters long and weigh 5 tons, making it one of the largest Megaraptoras
From the age of the discovered strata, it seems that Megaraptora have established the top position in the food chain in the southern hemisphere.
