Food & Life Companies, which develops the conveyor belt sushi restaurant ”Sushiro”, announced that it will raise the price of some menus from 10 yen to 30 yen per plate from October.
In response to this, on Twitter, ”Sushiro” temporarily entered the trend.
According to the operating company, the reason for the price increase is the soaring costs of food procurement due to the depreciation of the yen and the decrease in fishery resources, as well as logistics and labor costs.
From October 1st, the cheapest menu at all Sushiro stores will be 110 yen to 120 yen including tax.
