　ベトナムとの国境こっきょうに位置いちする広西こうせいチワン族自治区ぞくじちくの山間部さんかんぶで、岩盤がんばんが地下水ちかすいに浸食しんしょくされて作つくられた陥没孔かんぼつあなが新あらたに発見はっけんされました

In the mountainous area of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region located on the border with Vietnam, a new sinkhole created by erosion of rock mass by groundwater was discovered.

　縦たて306メートル、横よこ150メートルで、深ふかさは192メートルに達たっします

　一帯いったいはカルスト地形ちけいで、穴あなは切きり立たった白しろい壁かべで囲かこまれています

The area is karst terrain, and the holes are surrounded by steep white walls.

　調査隊ちょうさたいがロープを使つかって地底ちていにたどり着つくと、高たかさ40メートルの木きが生いい茂しげる広大こうだいな原始林げんしりんが広ひろがっていました

When the survey team reached the ground using a rope, a vast primeval forest with 40 meters high trees spread out.

　中国ちゅうごくではこうした陥没孔かんぼつあなは「天てんの穴あな」を意味いみする「天坑てんこう」と呼よばれています

In China, these sinkholes are called ”heavenly pits” which means ”heavenly holes”.
