France-Germany-Italy leaders support EU ”candidate country” certification

The leaders of France, Germany and Italy visited Ukraine for the first time after the invasion of Russia and expressed their intention to support the procedure for joining the EU = European Union.
The leaders met with Ukrainian President Zelensky in Kieu on the 16th.
At the press conference after the end, they all agreed to make Ukraine a ”candidate country for membership” in the EU.
President Zelensky welcomed ”it will be one of the important decisions in Europe in the 21st century”
It is expected that whether or not to be recognized as a candidate country for membership will be discussed at the EU summit meeting next week, and if it is unanimously approved, it will be a big step toward accession negotiations.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who has been criticized for the delay in providing weapons, also said that he would continue to support as long as necessary, and there was also an attitude of trying to dispel concerns.
