Drone attack in Moscow: President Putin’s official residence may be the target

Independent media points out that Mr. Putin may have been targeted in the drone attack on the Russian capital Moscow
According to Russian authorities and other sources, drones were intercepted in the early morning of the 30th in the vicinity of the upscale residential area of Rublyovka in the western suburbs of Moscow.
On the 31st, the Moscow Times reported, citing a source close to the Kremlin, that President Putin was at his official residence nearby when the drone strikes in the direction of Rublevka were taking place.
In addition, the influential newspaper ”Kommersant” reports that an expert who investigated the wreckage of the drone did not explode when it collided with a high-rise building in the city because the drone was not aimed at ordinary houses.
Some of the drones are said to have been loaded with explosives used to destroy concrete shelters and runways, and it seems that they were aimed at heavily protected important facilities.
