米べいテキサス州しゅうのダラス学区がっくは１８日にち、児童生徒じどうせいとに対たいして透明とうめいまたはメッシュのバックパックで登校とうこうすることを義務付ぎむづけると発表はっぴょうしました

The Dallas School District in Texas announced on the 18th that it will require students to attend school with transparent or mesh backpacks.

Following a gunfire incident at an elementary school in Uvalde, there are a number of school districts in the state taking similar steps.

対象たいしょうとなるのはダラス独立学区どくりつがっくの学校がっこうに通かよう６年ねん～１２年生ねんせいの児童生徒じどうせいとです

The target is 6th to 12th grade students attending schools in the Dallas Independent School District.

８月がつに始はじまる２０２２～２３年度ねんどから義務付ぎむづけます

Mandatory from 2022-23, which starts in August

同学区どうがっくは「透明とうめいやメッシュのバックパックだけで安全不安あんぜんふあんが解消かいしょうされるわけではない」と説明せつめいしました

The school district explained that ”transparent and mesh backpacks alone do not eliminate safety concerns.”

「これは児童生徒じどうせいとと職員しょくいんの安全あんぜんを徹底てっていさせるための包括的ほうかつてきな計画けいかくに向むけた一歩いっぽにすぎない」としました

”This is just one step towards a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety of our students and staff.”
