World’s tallest tree ”Hyperion”, California fine of 650,000 yen if approached

It is officially prohibited to approach the sequoia tree called ”Hyperion”, which was certified as the world’s tallest tree by Guinness World Records.
米カリフォルニア州のレッドウッド国立公園は、ハイペリオンに近付いた場合は６カ月以下の禁錮と５０００ドル（約６５万円）の罰金が科される可能性があると発表しました
California’s Redwood National Park has announced that anyone near Hyperion could face up to six months in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Hyperion is deep in the park and there are no trails leading to this tree.
However, since it was discovered in 2006, there has been no end to the number of visitors seeking thrills, and the growing environment has deteriorated.

The height of the tree is 115.92 meters.
Hyperion is named after a giant in Greek mythology.
