An undeclared McDonald’s muffin was found in the baggage of a passenger arriving from Bali, Indonesia, at Darwin airport in northern Australia, and the passenger was fined $2,664 Australian dollars (about 247,000 yen).

Quarantine sniffer dogs at the airport found prohibited items in passengers’ backpacks, including McDonald’s beef sausage muffins and ham croissants, according to the Australian Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Authority.
”It will be the most expensive Mac meal for this passenger,” Agriculture Minister Watt said, noting that the fine would be double the cost of a flight to Bali.
