Atlanta music festival canceled due to pressure over guns
米ジョージア州アトランタで来月予定されていた音楽フェスティバル「ミュージック・ミッドタウン」が中止になりました
Music Midtown, a music festival scheduled for next month in Atlanta, Georgia, has been canceled.
The organizer announced on Twitter on the 1st
フェスティバルは人気ミュージシャンを招いて毎年盛大に開催され、今年は来月１７～１８日に予定されていました
The festival is held on a grand scale every year, inviting popular musicians, and this year it was scheduled for the 17th and 18th of next month.
主催者は中止の理由について「私たちの手に負えない状況のため」とだけ説明しました
Organizers simply explained the reason for the cancellation as ”due to circumstances beyond our control”.
Multiple media outlets, citing people involved, said that the organizers banned guns from being brought into the venue, but gun control opponents put pressure on them.
