Toyota introduces new system that allows you to drive with just your hands

トヨタ自動車じどうしゃは、「NEO Steer」という新あたらしいシステムを紹介しょうかいしました

Toyota Motor Corporation introduced a new system called ”NEO Steer”

普通ふつうの車くるまのようなアクセルとブレーキのペダルがなくて、手てだけで運転うんてんができます

There are no accelerator and brake pedals like a normal car, so you can drive with just your hands.

足あしに障害しょうがいがある人ひとも、それ以外いがいの人ひとも、運転うんてんしやすくなっています

Driving is now easier for people with and without leg disabilities.

Hold the steering wheel with both hands and press the lever with your right thumb to make the car move or speed up.

両方りょうほうの手てでハンドルを握にぎって、右手みぎての親指おやゆびでレバーを押おすと車くるまが動うごいたり、スピードが速はやくなったりします

Pull the left lever behind the steering wheel to reduce speed

ハンドルの裏うらにある左ひだりのレバーを引ひくと、スピードが遅おそくなります

Daiki Morii, a skier who competed in the Paralympics, said, ``I hope that with this technology, many people will be able to go out freely.’’

パラリンピックに出でたスキーの森井大輝もりいたいき選手せんしゅは「この技術ぎじゅつで、たくさんの人ひとが自由じゆうに出でかけることができるようになるといいです」と話はなしていました

Toyota wants to continue research and make it available for everyone to use.
