Over 300 mammoth bones found in wine cellar in Austria
オーストリア科学アカデミー（ＯｅＡＷ）の研究者らは２２日、首都ウィーン郊外にあるワイン貯蔵庫から少なくとも３００本のマンモスの骨が発見されたと発表した
Researchers from the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) announced on the 22nd that at least 300 mammoth bones have been discovered in a wine cellar on the outskirts of the capital Vienna.
Experts believe these bones are between 30,000 and 40,000 years old.

The wine cellar owner discovered the bones in March while renovating his cellar in Gobelsburg, about 70 kilometers northwest of Vienna.
骨の回収を進めているＯｅＡＷの研究者らはこの発見をこの種のものとしては過去１００年あまりで最も重要なものであり、「考古学的に大事件」と表現している
OeAW researchers, who are recovering the bones, described the discovery as the most important of its kind in more than 100 years and an archaeological milestone.
