Gifu large truck crash: two people killed were drivers in their 50s
1日未明、岐阜県中津川市の国道で、大型トラック同士が正面衝突する事故があり、双方の運転手が死亡しました
Early on the 1st, there was an accident in which two large trucks collided head-on on a national highway in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, resulting in the deaths of both drivers.
According to the police, at around 2 a.m., a male passerby called 110 to report an accident between two trucks on National Route 19 in Ochiai, Nakatsugawa City.
Two large trucks collided head-on, and the two men driving each vehicle were seriously injured and died.
The deceased were Seiji Yonemasu (52) of Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture and Katsutoshi Hagiwara (53) of Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture.
The scene is a curve, and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
