Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) said yesterday that it has not been ”invited” to the meeting this month by the World Health Assembly, the highest decision-making body of the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to the government and diplomatic sources, it is quite unlikely that Taiwan will be able to participate in the General Assembly due to opposition from China.
