Unexploded ordnance found near German soccer stadium, US bomb from World War II

The bomb, which weighs about 500 kilograms, was discovered on the 24th during construction work, according to a statement from the city.
The scene was near the home stadium of Mainz 05, a team in Germany’s first division soccer league (Bundesliga).
