Within Kyoto Park in Kyiv exists a Japanese garden.

Japanese companies have repaired the ancient garden for the people in Ukraine, who have been under continous attack by Russia.

At the commemoration ceremony, Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, thanked Japan.
Japanese Ambassador, Kuninori Matsuda, said in Ukrainian, ”This park is a place that represents the mutual respect that the people of Kyoto and Kyiv have for each other.”
People who came to the park enjoyed Japanese culture by listening to shakuhachi music and watching sword techniques.
