Heavy rains kill 39 people in southern Brazil; Prime Minister Kishida also expresses solidarity

Rio Grande do Sul state in southern Brazil was hit by heavy rains, causing rivers to overflow, and according to the state government, 39 people had died and 68 were missing as of the 3rd.
今後も雨が降りやすい状態が続くため、当局は警戒を呼び掛けている
Authorities are calling for vigilance as rain is likely to continue in the future.
