Floods have occurred in Rio Grande do Sul state in southern Brazil due to continuous heavy rain since the end of last month, and the entire town has been submerged under water.
To date, 39 people have died and 68 are missing.
In addition, some of the dams at hydroelectric power plants in the state have collapsed, leaving more than 24,000 people affected by power outages and water outages.
